Yes, we're back at the gorgeous backgrounds. I've had my fill of non-Euclidean school hallways and office wallpaper. Hopefully there's a lot more of that to come.

I've noticed that some of the trees are actually indoors, I'm still not sure what sort of class is that. We know there's a giant aquarium for the fish students (still waiting on that hammerhead shark). So, what sort of students would this be for? It can't be an indoor park, the door outside is like 3 feet away.

Poor Jack looks so sad. This was shaping up to be a great evening. It looks like he's going to the observatory he works at. Night shift, likely. Though I've never heard of an observatory who takes visitors. Also, is the pink thing Pheonix school? It's similar to the dome in panel 3.

Holy hell, those colors, those backgrounds, are absolutely beautiful. I keep thinking that this comic can't look any better than it does, but Viv manages to keep stepping it up. The silhouette of the observatory in panel 5 looks SO cool.

That dome does look a little big to be ZPA, doesn't it? But I can't imagine what else it would be, unless she's teasing something that we won't learn about until later (..Xirxine, anyone? Nah, too colorful).

Definitely can't wait until we can see more on the layout of Safe Haven itself.  The colors are so vibrant and the buildings are pretty unique from what's been shown.  Those domes might just be other areas like the Animal District with extra protection maybe?  They could have some sort of properties applied to them since there seems to be a bit of glow.  

I hope the story will explore more of that as well!

Also happy birthday to you Silver!  I hope you guys enjoyed them this week.

Yeah, happy birthday silver! As for the update, I am really looking forward to more insight into jack's life. I feel that there might be an important connection between his immortality curse and his love of astronomy.

That's a great point that I hadn't considered, Ninja. I bet there's definitely something there.

This is one of the few panels without dialogue, and it feels strange yet refreshing looking at it. The colors and designs make it look so otherworldly.

I'm quite certain the dome in panel 3 is the dome on the right of the last panel, not the pink one. To be honest, I can't imagine what the pink one might be.
